CHANDLER, AZ – The Locally Owned and Operated Bakery Pie Snob recently launched its Chandler 24-hour pie vending machine to meet the demand for their handmade pies.
“We sell handmade products from scratch, just like what your grandmother used to make,” said Miranda Grause, district manager of Pie Snob. “Every ingredient you see – like the caramel, the whip – it’s all handmade, even the crust, we roll it ourselves.”

Some pies on the menu include apple crumb, caramel apple, chocolate cream, lime, strawberry rhubarb crumb, and butterscotch. Click here to see the full menu. And yes, Pie Snob sells more than pies; they have homemade lemonade, coffee and cheesecake.

“The flavors we typically carry in our ATMs are just the pies on the weekly menu. We change our menu every Tuesday,” Grause told ABC15. “We refill the vending machine two to three times a day.”
FROM GARAGE TO HOME TO BRICK AND MORTAR
“The owner, she loves making pies. First she started baking pies for her friends [and] then [her] neighbors,” Pie Snob’s district manager said.
According to Grause, the owner started her pie business at home. She ends up doing a commercial kitchen in his garage.
The success led the owner to open her first store in Arcadia; other locations in the valley followed.
FOURTH LOCATION COMING SOON
“So the fourth location is coming soon… it’s going to be in Roosevelt Row,” Grause said. “The fourth location is scheduled to open in late summer. get one for our Arcadia location as well.

Store opening hours: Tuesday to Thursday [10 a.m.-6 p.m.]Friday Saturday [10 a.m.- 8 p.m.]and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pie Snob is closed on Mondays.
